Clara A. Weidner CALDWELL Services for Clara CAL Weidner, 73, Caldwell, who died Monday at a Caldwell hospital, will be held in Ravenna, later this week. Arrangements are being handied by the Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Caldwell. Mrs. Weidner was born Aug.

18, 1899, at Ravenna, where she was raised. She graduated from Columbus, business school in 1917 venna to operate a Mobil Oil disprior to her marriage to Fred Weidner on Dec. 2, 1920, at Ravenna. The couple farmed near there until 1945 when they moved into Ravenna to operate a Mobile Oil distributorship until 1959. Mr.

Weidner died March 1 12, 1959. Mrs. Wiener came to Caldwell in 1966 to live with her daughter where she has since resided. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Ravenno. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs.

Bernice Szafraida, of Caldwell; a brother, Martin Blaschko and a sister, Anna Schuller, both of Ravenna; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View. He was born Dec. 31, 1891, in Algurta, Viscaya, Spain.

He came to the United States in 1908. He worked with the Wood Creek Sheep Co. in the Grand View and Mountain Home areas for many years. In 1955 he opened and operated the Airways Trailer Court in Mountain Home. He married Felita Arriaga on July 3, 1920, at Mountain Home.

He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Lauri Uriona of Mountain Home; two daughters, Mrs. Louisa Urquidi, Mountain Home, and Mrs. Sofia Wegman, Carlin, two s'sters, Mrs. Tomasa Mendiola and Mrs.

Louisa Meabe, both of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. was preceded in death by two brothers. Wilmer D. Copes NAMPA Services for Wilmer D. (Smokey) Copes, 79, of 707 Arrowhead Drive, who died unexpectedly Monday evening in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at Alsip Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m.

Friday by the Rev. Dr. James O. York of the First Christian Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest on Karcher Road.

Mr. Copes was born Nov. 6, 1893, in Texas, and farmed in Oklahoma before moving to Idaho. He married Gaye Hill in 1934 at Watonga, and they came to Idaho in 1935. He worked in construction until joining the Nampa Police Department in 1948.

He retired from the department in 1964. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Copes are a son, Max Copes of Nampa; two daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) Booth of Boise and Mrs.

Ray (Lucille) Baltazor of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Opal Lang of Phoenix, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Friends may call at the chapel from today until 10 a.m. Friday.

The family suggests memorials to the cancer fund. Henry Ritter NAMPA Services for Henry Ritter, 78, of Sixth Avenue South, who died Monday morning at his home, will be conducted at Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday by Elder R. A. Garner of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Rev.

Ritter was born Sept. 10, 1894, in Hastings, and attended schools at Culbertson, Lehi, and Longmont, Colo. He served in France during the Argonne Forest battles of World War 1, member of the Civilian Conservation Corps near Riggins in 1934-35. He married Edith Bradley Aug. 9, 1947, in Emmett.

He was employed on the farm at Idaho State School and Hospital for 27 years and was superintendent of the farm when he retired in 1960. He was a member ot the Seventhday Adventist Church and the War Eagle Barracks. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Ritter are two brothers, Ed Ritter of Emmett and Jake Ritter of Caldwell; a sister, Elizabeth Ritter of Nampa, and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Harry V. Shuler ONTARIO Harry V. Shuler, 77, Ontario, died Monday at the Veterans hospital in Boise. He was born Nov. 5, 1895 in Ottawa, Kan.

After being discharged from the U.S. Army in 1918, he made a career of trick roping, rodeoing and entertaining, until coming to Ontario in 1934 from Nebraska. He operated the Shuler Machine shop here from 1934 until he retired in 1972. While in Ontario he had an orchestra and played on a local radio program for some time. He was married to Sylvia Gale June 1, 1954, in Winnemucca.

He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife in Ontario; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Hulett, McMinnville, Ore. and Mrs. Sadie Krueger, Ogal'alo, Neb.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bertelson-Lienkaemper memorial chapel in Ontario. Interment will be at Evergreen. Sara J.
