Married at First Sight Australia 2024 cast now: What's happened since the show? (2024)

The Married at First Sight 2024 cast are still keeping us busy with all the drama that's continued since the season finished – including new couples, reunions and even a trip to the UK for one of the fan-favourites.

If you need your fix of the latest MAFS news, we're here to fill you in on what's happened since Australia's 2024 reunion.

Where are the cast of MAFS 2024 now?

Lauren Dunn

Everyone's favourite sass queen Lauren was one of the breakout stars of MAFS 2024, thanks to her memeable facial expressions and her tendency to apply pressure to controversial groom Jack (more on that later) from across the dinner party table.

She was initially paired with Jonathan (or Jono), and their wedding got off to a fairly strong start – despite her being late. She needed to fake tan, okay?

But cracks started to show between Lauren and Jono after their honeymoon, and things between them took a particularly bad turn when Jack told Lauren's husband to "muzzle" his woman. Yes, unfortunately, that was an event that happened.

Lauren didn't feel that her husband had supported her enough, something which the experts also held Jono (and others in the group) to account for during a follow-up commitment ceremony.

The pair tried to work on their relationship, but they broke up by the end of the show. In fact, Jono surprised everyone when he rocked up to the reunion with another bride from the experiment. But we'll get to that in a moment.

As for Lauren, she's been sharing regular updates with her Instagram followers and seems to spend a lot of time with show bestie Sara Mesa. Lauren has also undergone a hair transformation, switching her blonde hair for a darker brunette shade.

Lucinda Light

Another fan-favourite from the most recent Australian series, Lucinda was a ray of sunshine with her warm and positive attitude. Rumours questioned whether she would be joining the show as one of the experts herself!

Lucinda was paired with Timothy and, despite taking things slowly, they built a heartwarming bond, with Lucinda helping him to open up about his feelings. Fans were disappointed when their relationship came to a sudden end, and many had been hoping they would rekindle things outside of the experiment.

It has since been confirmed that, while Timothy and Lucinda are on good terms, they are just friends at this point.

During a catch-up with Digital Spy earlier this year, Lucinda said that she still thought Timothy was "the biggest hunk of spunk" but went on to clarify that "there is no romantic potential there."

She also revealed that they still see each other and have a lot of fun together when they do.

"We have a hoot together, there's a lot of chemistry in our relationship from that three-month immersion," Lucinda said. "You know when we hung out two or three weeks ago, we got spoiled in this restaurant in Melbourne and the banter was just outrageous. We had tears in our eyes. We have a lot of fun."

After finding fame on the series, it was announced that Lucinda will be touring the UK in August for 'An Evening with Lucinda Light' – and, as she revealed to Digital Spy, she was "definitely down" with the idea of dating a British man on her travels.

Timothy Smith

Timothy was matched with Lucinda, and on their wedding day, we saw him opening up to his new bride and their wedding guests about the loss of his father – which happened just weeks before the show started filming.

Throughout the series, we saw Timothy slowly start to share more from his past and how the loss in his life had affected him, and the bond he shared with Lucinda was a special one.

Sadly, the romance wasn't meant to be – but they remain close and supportive friends outside the show.

Since MAFS, Timothy has shared that he's having therapy, crediting the dating show with inspiring him to further work on his mental wellbeing.

He also shares mental-health content across his social channels, to spread awareness and help his followers.

Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams

The relationship between Jack and Tori was divisive among viewers, and the experts also voiced concerns surrounding Jack's behaviour in particular.

But despite the drama that followed them on the show, Jack and Tori made it to the end of Final Vows – and they appear to be one of the last couples standing from the 2024 series.

Jack recently described Tori as being his "best birthday gift" when marking his own occasion on Instagram, and the couple also revealed that they were moving in together.

During a recent Q&A with his followers, Jack responded to a question about whether he and Tori were planning on having a baby any time soon.

"Tori and I are happy building the life we want to lead at the moment," Jack said, before adding that there were "many things we wish to accomplish first."

But he also noted, "I've said two years" – so it could be on the cards at some point.

Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo

Ridge and Jade are another couple still going strong outside of the MAFS experiment, with the pair sharing updates with their followers across social media.

Following their Final Vows, which saw Ridge unveil a tattoo tribute to his MAFS partner, Jade shared (via Nine): "I feel like life out of the experiment has definitely felt more normal, and I would say we're definitely a lot happier, just because it's like real life now – post-experiment we've been really good."

Ridge seems to have built a bond with Jade's daughter, and he captioned a recent group snap with his show catchphrase: "a pretty deeece family".

Married at First Sight Australia 2024 cast now: What's happened since the show? (6)

Sara Mesa

Sara was partnered with groom Tim for the 2024 experiment, and despite a rollercoaster journey during the show – which included Sara controversially meeting her ex behind Tim's back – they made it through to Final Vows and remained a couple.

Things didn't last outside of the experiment, though, as Sara later confirmed (in an interview with Daily Mail Australia) that they had gone their separate ways.

"Tim and I are on friendly terms," she said. "We hadn't really spoken post-, like, the actual breakup, but we're actually very friendly now."

Since filming ended, Sara has been sharing her style in outfit posts on Instagram and has also debuted a new hair transformation.

Tim Calwell

As for Tim, he's no longer single, as he's now gone Instagram official with a new girlfriend.

He revealed his relationship news with a carousel of photos on Instagram, along with the caption: "Here's to a real Queen."

"I'm so blessed to have this woman in my life," he went on to write, "she takes care of me, supports me and treats me right. She lights up every room she walks into, and I could just look at her face forever. As they say, when one door closes another one opens..."

Tim also thanked his followers for the support he'd been receiving.

Eden Harper

Eden and her MAFS groom Jayden seemed smitten throughout the show experiment. Despite some challenges along the way – which was largely related to dramas with other contestants – they made it through to Final Vows and left the show as a couple.

But they shocked viewers with a split announcement before the show had finished airing in the UK.

In an update shared to Instagram, Eden wrote that she and Jayden had "spent many months together after the experiment" but that "toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end..."

A little later, Jayden shared his own post about the breakup.

"Sometimes in life, things don't always go the way you had hoped for," he said, before later adding: "Unfortunately, our relationship ended not long before the end of the experiment airing. As sad as it is, I’m so glad I got to go through this with such an amazing woman..."

Eden shares makeup and outfit looks with her Instagram followers, and of course, there's the occasional pup update, too.

Jayden Eynaud

Jayden already had a connection to MAFS, given that his brother Mitch had taken part in a previous season.

Since his own time in the experiment ended, following the breakup from Eden, Jayden has been meeting up with fellow contestants including Ridge and Tim, as well as posting about kickboxing.

Cassandra Allen

We had such high hopes for Cassandra and her show hubby Tristan, as they hit it off right from their first meeting at the aisle on their wedding day.

But sadly Tristan's slow-burn approach and lack of confidence in himself slowly started to affect Cass's feelings about the relationship, and they ultimately decided to leave the process part-way through.

Since the show ended, Cassandra's Instagram is made up of "fashion, food and family", as listed in her bio, and she shares a lot of travel content, too.

Tristan Black

After MAFS 2024 aired, Tristan described his relationship with Cassandra during the experiment as "probably one of the best things I've ever done".

He also opened up about how the show had helped him on his own personal journey.

"When I was on the show with Cass, it was 50 per cent working on myself and 50 per cent working on my relationship with Cass. Now I do 100 per cent working on myself," Tristan said in an interview with Nine.

"This has shown me a lot of my flaws, but it's also showed me a lot of my positives and has helped me become way more confident as a person," he added. "Rejection doesn't have to be as big a deal."

Tristan has also continued to hang out with his MAFS "dad" Timothy, most recently sharing a snap on a fairground bumper car ride.

Andrea Thompson

Andrea was coupled with Richard Sauerman for the experiment, and the pair seemed a match made in heaven at first. The chemistry between them was clear for all to see, and they appeared to enjoy each other's company.

But then Richard made some comments to the group that upset Andrea, and things started to go downhill from there. Ultimately, their communication became difficult, and they decided to part ways.

Since the show, rumours started to circulate that Andrea might have been dating another show groom – Timothy. But the pair clarified that they are simply "friends for life."

Andie commented for fans: "Here to hang out! Friends who don't kiss on the lips, since you're all asking…This man has been my rock and couldn't imagine this journey without him and Lulu..."

Lucinda has also spoken out about her "special" bond with fellow bride Andrea, and they've also reunited since filming ended.

"She's been one of the loveliest treasures that came out of MAFS for me," Lucinda wrote in her Instagram caption, alongside a reel of them together.

Richard Sauerman

As for Richard, he opened up in a post-show podcast chat about asking Andrea if there might have been a chance to rekindle.

"We had a coffee, and I said to her is there a chance? Yeah, I did. I asked her that," Richard told the Back to Reality podcast.

When asked what Andrea's response was, Richard said: "I didn't expect her to say yes, but I still had to ask, otherwise you die wondering."

In another interview following the MAFS Australia 2024 reunion, Richard answered a question about the status of his relationship with Andrea.

"Andie and I today – we're not enemies, we're not friends, we're just two people that shared a really amazing experience, a really unusual experience," he told Yahoo! Australia's podcast Behind The Edit. "We'll always have that in common, and that's it."

He also talked about their coffee meeting and said he had been "pleased" to see her.

Natalie Parham

Natalie married Collins as part of the Married at First Sight Australia experiment; however, they didn't last very long. In emotional scenes, Natalie decided to quit the show during a tearful dinner party where she felt disconnected from her show husband.

But in a surprise nobody expected, Natalie had a change of heart and arrived at the apartments to see whether they could form a deeper romance.

"Having spent some time alone, and being able to sleep on it as well, really helped me to want to be here. I've decided to stay in the experiment, but if [Collins] starts to do that surface-level performance, I'm out," Natalie explained.

But Natalie was still struggling with Collins' approach to their relationship and his style of communication, and she ultimately decided to leave for good.

After the show, Natalie revealed that she was dating someone "special".

"After the reunion, I rekindled my friendship with someone very special in my life who I was attracted to and interested in, and getting to know her again opened my heart back into the dating world," Natalie told Nine in an interview. "It really opened my eyes that I see people for who they are on the inside. That's what attracts me – it's not gender or their identity, I'm attracted to who someone is."

Natalie explained that while that connection didn't develop into a relationship, she was "single and ready to mingle". She added that the experience "certainly has opened up my heart again to seeing who is out there" – whether a "man, a woman or non-binary, that doesn't matter."

Natalie has also caught up with some of her former co-stars since the show, including Lucinda and Mike.

Collins Christian

After his exit from MAFS, Collins revealed that he had been approached by show bosses previously.

"People have said, 'Oh you're an actor, we saw you audition last year'. Yeah, I'll come out and say right now I've been approached for MAFS three times, and this was the one where I went all the way," he told Yahoo Australia.

He also responded to viewers who thought he was acting during his time on the series, telling the Kyle and Jackie O Show: "I am not a planted actor, let me get that straight…"

Jonathan "Jono" McCullough and Ellie Dix

Jonathan was matched with Lauren, but he's now dating another contestant from the experiment, Ellie. They announced their relationship at the 2024 reunion show, arriving hand-in-hand.

This caused quite a divided response from viewers, which led Jono's ex Lauren to speak out in defence of the pair.

"To everyone trolling and attacking Ellie at her workplace, please stop immediately," she shared on her Instagram Stories.

"What you see on TV is only a small portion of what goes on. Regardless of what you saw on TV (filmed six months ago) I have no problems with Jono and Ellie and neither of deserve to be harassed or bullied. Please can everyone let them be happy and let's all move on."

According to Instagram, Jono and Ellie's relationship still seems to be going strong.

Fellow contestant Lucinda has also shared that she's rooting for them as a couple.

"I reckon they'll have babies. They're such a good fit," she told Digital Spy. "They want the same things. Their values are in the same place."

Michael Felix

Michael had a disappointing start to his MAFS Australia journey, after his groom dropped out before they'd even met – a series first.

Expert John Aiken arrived at Michael's home to deliver the news, but he vowed to try his best to find him another match so that he could join the experiment later on. Sure enough, the MAFS team came through, and Michael paired up with Stephen.

The couple got off to a strong start, but cracks then started to appear when Michael began to question whether his groom was physically attracted to him. This only got worse when Stephen was accused of flirting with a hairdresser during a publicity shoot for the show.

Ultimately, Michael and Stephen parted ways.

Since the show, Michael has kept in touch with a number of his co-stars, including Natalie and Cassandra.

Michael's Instagram bio implies that he's still single, as it includes the words: "Still on my journey to find love..."

Stephen Stewart

Despite things not working out for his marriage, Stephen seems to have found plenty of friendships among the cast and has been hanging out with a number of the brides and grooms.

"Ended up walking away from #MAFS with plenty of love," he captioned a snap of himself with Eden and Jade. "Super grateful for each experience, friendship and lessons learned!"

He has also been seen catching up with Jono.

Ben Walters

Ben was originally paired with Ellie as part of the experiment, but they started to run into communication issues. Ellie was also clear about wanting to start a family one day, while Ben didn't initially seem sure that this would be something that he would want.

At a commitment ceremony, we eventually saw Ellie telling the experts that the mixed messages from her show husband had left her feeling like she was "going crazy", with Mel Schilling validating her feelings.

Ellie ultimately decided to take her "newfound confidence" and leave, which won applause from the group, while Ben also decided it was time for him to leave the experiment.

Since the show, Ben has gone Instagram official with a new girlfriend, captioning a Reel of their time together with the words: "I love you..."

Madeleine Maxwell and Ash Galati

As one of the later entries to the series, Madeleine was partnered with Ash.

Madeleine certainly made an impression on viewers as a medium who shared her psychic abilities during her time on the show – much to her partner's confusion.

They didn't end up going the distance, with the pair each deciding not to continue in the experiment. Since the show, Madeleine has kept quite a low profile and has seemed to stay out of the public eye.

As for Ash, his Instagram bio appears to make light of his time on MAFS with the words: "Got married on national TV, then divorced in a week..."
